Medical Staff:
Applicants for the following Consultant posts must have a minimum of five years’ post-membership experience (UK Royal College, American Board or other International equivalent) with at least three years’ experience in a consultant post to meet Oman Ministry of Health license requirements for Consultant appointments. Fluency in verbal and written English medical terminology is essential. Spoken Arabic is desirable.

Locums for Paediatrics, Internal Medicine, General Surgery and Family Medicine are always required.

Applications are invited for the following permanent positions:

• Consultant Paediatrician

(applications for locum also invited)
Broad experience in the full range of general paediatrics required and a sub-specialty would be an extra “plus”. Neonatal experience would be an advantage.

• Consultant Internal Medicine/Gastroenterology

Broad experience in General Medicine and Gastroenterology including upper and lower GI endoscopy and ERCP. General experience in pulmonology and cardiology. Minimum of 5 years' post-membership experience (UK Royal College, American Board or other International equivalent)

Nursing Staff:
Applicants for the following nursing posts must be western qualified with a minimum of five years’ post-registration experience and be fluent in English. Spoken Arabic and previous experience in a private healthcare establishment is desirable.

· Head Nurse – In-patients & Midwifery. To lead the multi-professional team of Nurses and Midwives providing care to in-patients. Minimum three years' relevant supervisory experience in Ward Nursing, ideally as Head Nurse, including Ob/Gyn and NICU. The successful candidate will preferably also have extensive midwifery experience.

· Registered Nurse – ACU/IVF. Broad experience and speciality qualification in IVF/OT.

· Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical. Ideally will also have HDU/ICU experience.

· Registered Nurse – NICU. Ideally will also have midwifery & PICU/Paeds experience.

· Midwife. Ideally will also have NICU experience.

Applicants for the following nursing posts must be Middle Eastern/Omani

qualified with a minimum of five years' post-registration experience and be

fluent in English and Arabic. Previous experience in a private healthcare

establishment is desirable.

· Registered Nurse – Paediatrics. Broad experience in paediatric nursing care.

· Registered Nurse – General. Broad general nursing experience required.

Applicants for the following nursing posts must be ISC/FE/EE qualified with a

minimum of five years' post-registration experience & speciality qualification /

experience. Must be fluent in English. Spoken Arabic and private healthcare

experience is desirable.

· Midwives. Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience in Midwifery & Ob-Gynae. Must have recent Labour room experience. Ideally with recent NICU/NNLS qualifications/experience.

· Registered Nurse – General. Minimum of 8 years post-registration experience & speciality qualification with supervisory experience required.

Technical Staff:

Applications for the following technical posts must be fluent in English. Spoken

Arabic and private healthcare experience is desirable.

· General Radiographer. Female Radiographer holding a degree in Radiology with general radiology and preferably mammography experience and a valid Oman MOH license along with a minimum of 3 years experience, preferably in a private hospital.

· CT & MRI Radiographer. A degree in Radiology with a minimum of 5 years broad experience specialising in CT & MRI, preferably on GE equipment.

· Pathology Technician.

Administration Staff:

Applications for the following Administration posts must be fluent in English and

Arabic where noted. Spoken Arabic and private healthcare experience is

desirable.

· Pharmacy Assistant. Required to assist Pharmacy in managing stocks, receiving and issuing supply and assist in Main Sores when required. Fluent in spoken and written English essential.

· Patient Relations Representative - Administration. Omani candidate preferred with at least 10 years experience in dealing with customers in a quality organisation. Must be fluent in spoken English and Arabic. Experience of health care an advantage.

· Patient Relations Representative - Marketing. Omani candidate preferred with marketing experience in a healthcare environment. Must be fluent in spoken English. Experience of health care an advantage.

· Quality Coordinator. Western Qualified. JCIA Accreditation experience desirable.
